
Learn some of the founding principles of clothes alterations with experienced tutor Alison.
In this session you may just want to take the time to practice existing skills and gain useful advice and insights from Alison. You may want to gain experience in the making alterations such as adding a zip, sewing a curved/circular hem, blind hand stitching on a hem, shortening the length of a skirt or trousers, add darts for a better fit.
Come along and complete your projects or you can learn and make samples of typical alterations and finishing techniques that are required in dressmaking.
This will be a fun and relaxing session where you will be joined by like minded people.
Please note - you must be able to use a sewing machine (this workshop is not suitable for beginners). Get in touch if you need any further information regarding this.
