Join The Herbarium Collective - skilled botanical artists with a passion for nature and creativity - for a festive, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own unique piece of vintage-inspired floral art to take home and treasure.

Using a beautiful mix of natural and recycled materials - including pressed flowers, vintage fabrics, and papers - you’ll craft a personalised, mixed-media artwork, perfect to gift or keep.

Guided by experienced artists, you’ll learn the gentle, mindful practice of working with fragile organic elements. This workshop is designed to encourage slow, process-oriented creativity, mindfulness, and environmental awareness. It’s also a wonderful way to connect with others in a welcoming and inclusive setting.

What to expect on the day

During the workshop you will:

Explore the basics of working with pre-pressed flowers.

Explore techniques for composing mixed-media artworks using natural and vintage materials and metallics.

Create a selection of small pieces, cards and tags before completing a final mounted artwork to take home.

Discover the joy of mindful making and creative reuse.

What’s included:

All equipment and materials will be provided, including pre-pressed flowers, vintage papers and fabrics. However, you are welcome to bring your own pre-pressed flowers and papers that are meaningful to you if you wish.

There will also be biscuits, cakes, tea and coffee for all.
