Under the careful guidance of designer/maker Florence, you will be shown how to hand-manipulate a selection of Ordnance Survey* maps to create a beautiful geometric shade. Each shade will be completely unique and can be used with a table lampstand or as a small ceiling shade.

*For this workshop you can select your own maps if you would prefer - perhaps of a special place you live in or love to visit and send these to us by no later than 2 weeks before the workshop date, so we can arrange for Florence to prepare them in advance for use in the class. Please be aware that the maps will be cut up as part of the construction process. Alternatively, you can use the general Ordnance Survey map selection provided by Florence.
