This live band sell out large venues around the UK and Europe and have been invited to play at some of the largest festivals around: Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious Festival, Latitude Festival – including main stage performances.

And she's fallen down a Y2K rabbit hole, into a Wonderland of late 90s / early 2000 pop: divas, boy bands, TMZ, low rise jeans and an endless selection of iconic hits.

The White Rabbit is "Bringing Sexy Back". The Queen of Hearts is looking for her "Genie In A Bottle". And The Mad Hatter is hosting a tea party in Ibiza - "that's hot!"

The story of Smoove & Turrell began in the post millennium North East of England with a group of working class lads and a shared passion for soul. Smoove had met keyboardist Mike Porter through the local music scene in Newcastle and recruited him for his ‘Smoove Live’ project for the label Acid Jazz. Around Mike’s house one day they overheard a neighbour singing sublime melodies in his garage with friends which turned out to be none other than a young John Turrell practicing in a band called ‘The Stevies’.

How many bands have the career longevity to release ten albums? They might have been perilously close to falling apart on various occasions in their history, but the Dub Pistols have rolled with the punches and are now gearing up to release their tenth album in early 2025.

In 2022, global-folk band Mishra met international fusion vocalist Deepa Shakthi. Out of a blossoming musical friendship, they began a collaborative project that takes the soul-stirring euphoria of Deepa's Sufi singing as a starting point, and weaves in the threads of Mishra's UK folk and Indian classical influences.

Their joyous performances are a journey of contrasts, from hand-clapping trance-like sufi songs to spacious stillness and reflection. Their debut collaborative album explores the meeting point of two musical worlds and is set for release in autumn 2025.
