Unity Day Fundraiser - Brand New Bag, D3, Drop Leg Steppers

We are raising funds towards 2025 Unity Day, which we hope will go ahead this summer.

Six amazing acts!

Drop Leg Steppers
Mutual Subjects
Bruce Leeds
Supreme Brass Band Leeds

Let’s unite through music, celebrate our community, and make Unity Day 2025 a reality.

Your support means everything!

Last year, due to funds being withdrawn, Unity Day, which has been going for nearly 30 years now, was not held.

It started out of troubles in the area and built on Uniting the community.

Unity Day Fundraiser: Sound Mag Hi-Fi, Krotone, Sharpaz & More

We’re excited to bring you a night of cutting-edge sounds at The Fenton in support of Unity Day and local community initiatives.

Featuring performances from Sound Mag Hi-Fi, Krotone, Sharpaz, Tarmac and more to be announced, this event promises an unforgettable mix of dub, UK garage, 140, and UK bangers.

Every ticket sold helps fund Unity Day and ongoing community work in the LS6 area.

Come for the music, stay for the cause.

Together, we can keep the spirit of unity alive.

Mayshe Mayshe

We Three Things present a fabulously intimate live music experience, featuring the wonderful Mayshe Mayshe.

Skydaddy + Catbandcat & Bug Teeth

Skydaddy, the moniker of London-born Lebanese/Grenadian artist, Rachid Fakhre, began life in early 2023 as an offshoot of his previous acclaimed project Spang Sisters. Before releasing any music, there was a buzz around the new project in the London scene - 2 weeks before Fakhre released his first single, ‘That Morning’, he toured the UK with his 7-piece backing band supporting Black Country, New Road.

Nosferatu (1922) + live score

With the renewed interest in the film Nosferatu, following a recently released remake, we're putting on another special intimate screening of the original 1922 film at The Northern Market on Saturday 25th January.

This screening will be accompanied by an original improvised live score by Anna Ross (synths), Spike Woodley (theramin) & Iris Casling (double bass).

*this is the second screening of the film at The Northern Market, which we're putting on due to high demand and a sold out first screening.

Bruno Heinen’s “The W”

Super project…Top class – Gilles Peterson

Eclectic, eccentric and unobtrusively erudite – Guardian

A sound of genuine freshness and subtlety **** – Jazzwise

The W is a newly established London-based contemporary jazz quartet of outstanding musicality creating chamber jazz that is as exciting and inventive, as it is elegant and sophisticated.
