Get ready for an enchanting evening as children from schools across Leeds come together for a special musical performance at the Howard Assembly Room in the heart of Leeds! They'll be bringing to life a captivating commissioned arrangement of Wonderland Restored, written by acclaimed composer Will Todd.
A journey of original choral music, featuring works by Kerensa Briggs, Knut Nystedt and Robert Schumann, as well as by members of the choir. Come with us on a musical voyage of longing and hope in the beautiful setting of All Souls' Church.
In this final concert of our 2024-25 season, we will perform the complete cycle of Nystedt's "Prayers of Kierkegaard", which we have been building up during the year, as well as all four of Schumann's songs for double choir. We also introduce two works by contemporary British composer, Kerensa Briggs.
