We’ll make custom stamps that feature your most regal face (and perhaps even a certain Percy Pig) and then use them to fill your coffers with coins.

Join our guided tour of a magnificent Victorian, grade 1 listed, neo-gothic church. Opened in 1841, it was the largest church to have been built in England since St Paul’s Cathedral in 1697.

Learn about the charismatic Dr Hook, whose vision lay behind this building and who became a leading name in the town as well as the church. View the ‘family heirlooms’ we have from previous churches on the site, enjoy the architecture, the stained-glass and the human stories.

As part of Queer History Club we are thrilled to welcome Jake Hall to talk about their book, Shoulder to Shoulder with historian Kit Heyam.

Would you like to find out more about your ancestors who served in the Armed Forces? This free talk will introduce you to some of the resources available in the Local & Family History Library and online to help you in your research.

This is also an opportunity to share Armed Forces memories and learn how to add these to the Leodis photographic archive.

An evening with Windrush generation nurses who will share their personal recollection of their times training and working as nurses. Their contribution to fighting for health equalities around conditions such as Sickle Cell, diabetes and other conditions and the legacies they left behind.

There will be discussions about the Mary Seacole Nurses Association Leeds and the need for that group, its achievements and impact on the Caribbean community. 

The evening will include an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia.
