This Halloween, Lotherton invites all thrill-seekers to step into the pages of twisted fairy tales once more. Are you ready for the next chapter, where happily ever afters really don’t exist!
The Leeds Big Sleep returns for another year, bringing together the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and St George’s Crypt for a night under the stars at AMT Headingley Stadium on Thursday, October 23rd.
Over the past eight years, the Leeds Big Sleep has grown significantly, raising over £300,000 to support the city’s most vulnerable individuals.
Participants from across the city, including volunteers, businesses, staff, and Leeds Rhinos players, are encouraged to spend one night on the terraces instead of in the comfort of their homes.
The Starlight Walk will take place on Saturday 22 November 2025, a 5km walk through the beautiful grounds of Roundhay Park to raise money for Sands and to walk in memory of all our much loved babies.
On the darkest nights, the stars shine brightest. With every step you take and every pound you raise, you help create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.
A walk guided by one of the Wetherby Civic Society members to learn interesting and lesser known facts and stories about our town. This is always a popular event.

Yorkshire’s newest ghost tour!
Led by ghoulish guide, Lord Bartholomew Catch, The Leeds Ghost Tour begins at the Corn Exchange entrance and wanders around some of the most haunted places in Leeds.
Expect miserable history: witches, peasants, murderers and more… Leeds really was ‘orrible back in the day.
The hour long tour is wheelchair accessible, dogs are welcome, and it’s suitable for all ages.
