What will I learn?
You will learn how to create your own Rustic Tree decoration for your home alongside learning basic woodwork skills such as;
How to recognise different types of timber and sheet materials
An understanding of hand tools (such saws and drills).
Cutting - How to use a handsaw and a axe
Measuring and marking
Identifying Woods
Drilling - How to use a drill and the appropriate drill bits
Finishing and sanding
Who is the tutor?
A fun and dynamic class combining breakdance and streetdance. Includes hip hop – old skool (popping, locking, waving) and nu skool (krump, house and more) – a high energy, positively focused way into the funkiest moves on the street.
During the term the group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term.
Booking for the Autumn term is now open. The Autumn term runs from 13 September to 13 December with our Children and their Grown Ups festival on 18 October and a half term break on 25 October.

TEMPO are a performance group for ages 12-16 based at Yorkshire Dance, learning streetdance and breakdance skills to take out onto the streets and stages of Yorkshire.
TEMPO members work across the term on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents as well as additional opportunities to perform at venues across Leeds and West Yorkshire. In 2025 TEMPO performed at Sadler’s Wells Making Moves platform at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and in 2024 they performed at Beeston Festival.
TEMPO are a performance group for ages 12-16 based at Yorkshire Dance, learning streetdance and breakdance skills to take out onto the streets and stages of Yorkshire.
All TEMPO members receive a free t-shirt and across the term work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents as well as additional opportunities to perform at venues across Leeds and West Yorkshire. In 2024 TEMPO performed at Youth Dance Showcase FRESH as well as in Trinity Shopping Centre.
Build on technique without the pressure of exams in this creative session. During the term the group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term.
Each class offers the chance to learn ballet from professional dance tutors in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
