This course is designed to build on the skills and techniques you have learnt in our Introduction to Woodwork - Hand Tools 1 course. Please make sure you have completed our Hand Tools 1 course as we like to ensure everybody is at a similar skill level. We do this to make sure all participants get the most out of the day and can learn as much as possible.

You will learn how to create your own Rustic Tree decoration for your home alongside learning basic woodwork skills such as;
How to recognise different types of timber and sheet materials
An understanding of hand tools (such saws and drills).
Cutting - How to use a handsaw and a axe
Measuring and marking
Identifying Woods
Drilling - How to use a drill and the appropriate drill bits
Finishing and sanding
Who is the tutor?
A fun and dynamic class combining breakdance and streetdance. Includes hip hop – old skool (popping, locking, waving) and nu skool (krump, house and more) – a high energy, positively focused way into the funkiest moves on the street.
During the term the group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term.
Booking for the Autumn term is now open. The Autumn term runs from 13 September to 13 December with our Children and their Grown Ups festival on 18 October and a half term break on 25 October.
