BI-TOPIA

Listed as one of The Stage’s ‘Top shows to see at Edinburgh in 2024’, and officially a ‘must see’ show at Glastonbury Festival, BI-TOPIA is a ‘Hilarious, honest and raw’ coming-of-age story, exploring the highs and lows of the bisexual experience, whilst coming from a military family.

Out Together - Coffee, Cake and Chat

Join Out Together every Wednesday at Flamingos Coffee House in Leeds for coffee, cake and a chat.

Please drop in and join us if you're about, to have good conversation and catch up with like minded friends at this free drop in session. It is a very welcoming atmosphere at Flamingos Coffee House and we are a friendly community of LGBT+ people. You can meet new people, find out more about out Together and all that's happening for LGBTQ+ folk across the generations in Leeds and beyond.

Queering Love Zine Workshop

Join Orange for a workshop about the feeling you get when you look at your cat sleeping and you know that you would lay down your life for them (and that they would probably let you and that that's okay). The rushing heart-beating feeling you get when two of your favourite people on the planet both show up to the same queer Muay Thai class and you weren't sure if either of them were coming. The feeling you get when a housemate knocks gently on your bedroom door and says “shall we get takeaway tonight?”

Carols at The Bookish Type

We're turning the bookshop into a festive wonderland.

Join us for a non-alcoholic gluhwein, mince pies and carol singing from Madripals. Our fave queer madrigal group will be carolling in front of the bookshop from 2pm, raising funds for PAFRAS.

Come by and pick up all your holiday gifts, eat your first/hundredth mince pie of the season and listen to some lovely singing.

Trans Day of Remembrance

This week it's Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance on 20 November that honours the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

TransLeeds and TransPrideLeeds are working with Leeds Teaching Hospitals to hold a candlelight vigil this Wednesday 20 November at 6pm, Great George Street Entrance, Leeds General Infirmary.

Refreshments and buffet, alongside a pop-up exhibition, followed by speakers from various organisations that are committed to supporting trans and non-binary communities.
