Recycled Textile Art Journals

Join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles for this four-week textile art course. You will learn how to use reclaimed textiles and upcycled embellishments to create a unique textile journal, perfect for storing your memories and photographs. Hayley will guide you through techniques like hand and machine embroidery, applique and creating embellishments from upcycled household materials.

River Aire Craft Club

Join River Aire Crafts for their lino printing workshops, ‘you will learn how to safely cut the lino board using the specialised tools, and the best techniques to ensure a clean cut. We will go through how to mix the ink for the right colour and consistency, how to ink the lino and achieve a successful print! You will take home between 5-8 A4 or A5 prints.

Explore Textile Art with Ling

Join us every Wednesday morning for a creative textile session exploring techniques to make art and learn new skills!

Each week in this friendly meet up, you will try your hand at different techniques from Japanese sashiko embroidery techniques to felting or creative quilting and collage, there's so many possibilities to create art with fabric! Hosted by talented textile artist Ling, you will create something new or receive help to create your own project! 

Intro to Life Drawing 6 Week Course - September

Running on Tuesday evenings from 10th September – 15th October 2024, this 6 week, fully tutored course offers an exploration into the various techniques and methods used to depict the human figure.

Working with a life model, each of the 6 sessions will focus on a different subject, for example: quick gestural drawings, Chiaroscurro (the study of light and dark tonal values), measured drawing or negative space.

A mix of Local Produce and Craft Traders Inside and Outside. An avg. of 25 stalls and tables plus regular attractions and a Market Cafe.
