YCC- Yorkshire

South Asian Arts-uk and Bradford Music Education Hub, in collaboration with Drum the Bass, proudly present the "Young Croydon Composers" project, an exciting new chapter in cross-cultural, cross-genre musical collaboration.

This initiative brings together young musicians from Bradford, Leeds, and across West Yorkshire to compose, arrange, and perform original music.

William Jack - Australian Cellist

William Jack is an Australian multi-style cellist and songwriter, based in London. He is best known for incorporating his jazz guitar background into an unconventional style of cello playing, with a passion for breaking boundaries between genres and cultures. His music transitions seamlessly from virtuosic folk and bluegrass compositions, to non-Western sound worlds.

LSTwo

A concert of premieres with a memorial performance of Sandy Goehr's Manere for clarinet and violin. The programme features new pieces by students of the School of Music and an exciting premiere of a piece written especially for LSTwo by Mexican composer Alex Garcés.

Emma Rawicz & Gwilym Simcock

This new duo brings together the talents of celebrated pianist and composer Gwilym Simcock and rising star saxophonist and composer Emma Rawicz. Emma and Gwilym will be performing music from their exciting upcoming duo release Big Visit including original works and arrangements of a variety of other music from the Great American Songbook to Stevie Wonder!
