Tiny Tetley returns!

Artist Beatrice Lee Knowles leads these creative and messy play sessions for children aged 0–3.

Inspired by our Superheroes of Leeds exhibition, we will explore the idea of superpowers through sensory experimentation and imaginative play.

These workshops are ideal for children aged 0–3. We supply soft mats for children under 1.

Beatrice Lee Knowles is an artist and creative play facilitator, based in Sheffield. With extensive experience working creatively with families, she specialises in sculpture and sensory art.

Christmas Crafting - Make Christmas Decorations with Leeds Wood Recycling

What will I learn?

You will learn how to create 2 Christmas decorations.

A 'Pallet wood Christmas tree ' and some ' Decorative wooden bunting' Which you can take home at the end of the day.

Alongside the decorations you will learn basic woodwork skills such as;

How to recognise different types of timber and sheet materials

An understanding of hand tools (such saws and drills).

What will I learn?
The course is a mixture of theory and practical learning. You will learn how to use hand tools to create a pallet wood hamper which could be a great Christmas gift (or you could just keep it for yourself!)

Participants will gain an understanding of all the basic terms & techniques required. You will create a small project to put into practice the skills you will learn.
