Nothing Lasts Forever: Peter Mitchell

Leeds Art Gallery is thrilled to present a major retrospective of British documentary photographer Peter Mitchell.

Known for documenting Leeds throughout his career, the exhibition will explore and reflect upon key bodies of work from Mitchell’s remarkable career and feature works previously unseen by the public. Peter Mitchell has a long-rooted connection with Leeds and ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ marks nearly half a century since Mitchell’s first exhibition at Leeds Art Gallery in 1975.

Beyond Colours From Life

The Art Court, in collaboration with Rushbond, the Yorkshire-based property developer, presents the exhibition 'Beyond Colours From Life'.

This selling exhibition features the work of ten artists who are connected to Leeds. It explores different aspects of colour and how it is used by the artists within their work and is presented in the stunning First White Cloth Hall.

Harewood Biennial 2024: Create/Elevate

Create/Elevate is the third Harewood Biennial, now established as the major craft Biennial of its kind outside London. Presented within Harewood House and across our gardens and landscapes, it showcases the work of international artists, designers and craft collectives, including new commissions. The exhibition explores the power of craft to surprise, inspire and bring people together and will be accompanied by a dynamic and accessible programme of learning and active public engagement.
