Life Drawing with Rob Oldfield

Join us in our monthly life drawing class with Gallery favourite, experienced artist and tutor, Rob Oldfield.

This workshop is open to everyone, from newcomers who want to take up a hobby through to experienced artists looking to hone their sketching skills.

Materials including various papers, pencils, charcoal and drawing boards will be supplied, but please feel free to bring your own too.

Leeds West Yorkshire — RIACHBROS is proud to announce "UNTITLED," a unique pop-up art exhibition and film screening that will showcase the work of emerging and talented local artists. This one-of-a-kind event is set to take place on Saturday 1st February at The Assembly House leeds 5 - 8pm, and will center around the theme, "Disrupting Silence: Voices from Beyond the Margins."

Inspired by Temple Newsam: An artistic intervention with Leeds Fine Artists in response to Temple Newsam

'Inspired by Temple Newsam' is an intervention at Temple Newsam House in collaboration with Leeds Fine Artists in 2025.

This exhibition will feature works by multiple artists who have produced works in response to various aspects of Temple Newsam - from its history to architecture, from its collection of fine and decorative arts to its fabulous grounds.

This intervention will open in April 2025 and close at the end of September 2025.

Animated Activism: Women Empowered

An exhibition to get angry about.

From the Women’s Liberation Movement of the 1970s to the present day, discover the vital work of two pioneering organisations. 

In 1974, an activist collective of nearly 40 women’s refuges come together. They form a women-led national network – the Women’s Aid Federation of England. 

In 1978 in Leeds, a small group of feminists complete a film about the need for pre-school childcare. They formally establish themselves as the women-run collective – Leeds Animation Workshop. 

Pop Up Art Exhibition: Flora

A pop up art exhibition celebrating florals coming to Leeds for just 5 days.

Imagine hundreds of flowers hanging from the ceiling. More than an art exhibition; an immersive, sensory experience.

We'll be partnering with several floral artists and local businesses to create an event that's not to be missed!

Her Unstable Materials by Stella Baraklianou

Her Unstable Materials is an exciting exhibition of new ceramic sculptures by Stella Baraklianou at BLANK_ Leeds. Returning to clay as a material, this exhibition bridges her previous photographic work with textiles and a significant new body of sculptural works with the addition of interactive elements. 

The exhibition and artist talk is made possible by funding from the Henry Moore Foundation.
