Formed during the reign of Queen Victoria, the Silver Band has been providing superb entertainment for almost 150 years.

The latest in the popular outdoor adventure films screened at the Festival in recent years is the brilliant ‘The Climbing Film Tour 2025.’ It showcases a unique selection of short films focused on climbing, mountaineering and other vertical adventures.

In the 250th year since JMW Turner’s birth, join poet Clare Wigzell in walking through the abbey and park, looking in a mindful way, and hearing a few poems to help us to appreciate colour and light like Turner did when he painted the Abbey. Please dress weather appropriately.
