Rush Hour Jazz - Sophie Speed and Jeff Hewer Quartet

Leeds Conservatoire jazz graduate Sophie Speed on saxophone, showcases a passion for the jazz tradition. Jeff Hewer is a jazz guitarist and composer from Toronto, Canada who now lives in Leeds and has been playing for 20 years in many different musical settings – with duos, trios, quartets, and big bands. Together they draw inspiration from legends like Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane. With the Jazzleeds trio

Stuart Garside plays and sings The Harry Connick Jr Songbook

Stuart Garside and his 12 piece Nola Big band present The Harry Connick Jr Songbook. They will be swinging out live and delving into the songbook of one of the world’s greatest crooners, pianists, composers and arrangers of our time. The show will feature such hits as: “It had to be you”, “Recipe for Love”, “We are in love”, songs from the Grammy winning album “Songs I Heard” and much more.

Twixmas Jazz Cafe and Jam Session

Join us in the Seven Arts Bar for some holiday music and laughter! Come and sing/play your instrument, bring those last Christmas crackers or just watch the fun. 

The trio will be the Jazzleeds House Band led by Chapel Allerton’s pianist wizard Andy Cholerton. Phil Green will be your MC. We invite you to come and join in – or just have a Twixmas drink at the bar and watch the fun!

The Corporate Court (ISDS - Investor State Dispute Settlement) system was created 60 years ago to protect foreign investors in former colonies after independence. It has evolved as a secretive international legal system that allows corporations to sue states for laws, regulations and domestic court rulings they think will reduce their profits. Today there are more than 3000 international trade and investment treaties that include ISDS clauses.

Murder Mystery Evening at The Mansion

Join us for the 5th Annual dinner of the S.P.O.O.C (Society for the Preservation of Old Cinema) Horror Convention. Everyone will be here to meet the actors, hear them reminisce about their favourite films and co-stars, collect a few autographs and maybe pick up a piece of movie memorabilia. But who has it in for one of the celebrity guests? Join S.P.O.O.C and find out. Fancy dress is highly encouraged if not compulsory, so come dressed to KILL!
