ORBIT 94 is a photography exhibition that captures the heady days of legendary techno club, THE ORBIT at The Afterdark in Morley, Leeds in 1994.
Featuring many previously unseen images, ORBIT 94 is an authentic slice of Northern nightlife culture.
Between 1990 and 2003, THE ORBIT was considered one of the best techno clubs in the world, attracting the world’s greatest DJs including Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills alongside the best of UK talent.

Chemistry returns to the Chemic on Friday 26 September, with another night of poetry and spoken word, two brilliant headliners and our usual amazing open mic. This time round our headliners are Forward-shortlisted Elisabeth Sennitt Clough and Derby powerhouse Jamie Thrasivoulou.
The events are themed on the elements of the periodic table, so this time it’s element number 21, which is Sc for Scandium. The theme is entirely optional, but we hope you might use it as a creative prompt to come up with some new work to reveal on the night.
Old Woollen and Farsley Lit Fest regular Gary Wigglesworth (The Book Lovers’ Quiz Book) returns to host our annual quiz.
This is a literary quiz book with a difference. Rather than basic sets of questions, The Book Lover’s Quiz Book mirrors the format of Gary’s live quizzes, at the Betsey Trotwood in London and elsewhere. So, there are lots of multiple-choice questions, some amusing answers, clever red herrings, little-known facts about authors and some of the much-loved Say What You See picture round.
