Ice Cube at Christmas

Get ready to celebrate the holiday season as Ice Cube at Christmas returns to Leeds City Centre. The much-loved event will spread holiday cheer throughout Millennium Square, Victoria Gardens, and Cookridge Street, featuring an array of winter-themed activities and attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Strap on your skates and take to the 400sqm covered ice rink, where daily sessions, beginner-friendly one-on-one lessons, and special Penguin Clubs ensure that both novice and seasoned skaters can join in the fun.

Spooky Skeletons: Scarytales

Join us at Lotherton this October half-term for spine-tingling tales and eerie encounters.

Spooky Skeletons: Scarytales is a daytime event perfect for all ages. As you follow the twisted fairytales trail through the haunting grounds, gardens and house at Lotherton, all is not as it seems. Rattle your bones as you come face-to-face with a series of skeletons - making themselves at home and reimagining classic tales with a Halloween twist.

Look Through the Camera

Join us at Archive for an exhibition of print work by Alfie Fox.

Alfie works with photography, digital art, print, text, collage, and making films. He enjoys experimenting with new techniques and building his skills across different art mediums.

His artwork advocates and challenges people’s perspective of access for people with disabilities and incorporates the difficulties he has personally faced as a young man with multiple disabilities.

Art Burn: Halloween Market

Creep into our Halloween market, explore spooky stalls, support local artists and enjoy our killer playlist.

Get your claws on prints, stickers, jewellery, clothes, ceramics, gifts, paintings and more.

Some of the stalls will be Halloween themed, selling gothic or spooky stuff. Sink your teeth into a tarot reading or have your fortune read

Halloween dress is encouraged but entirely optional.

Art Burn Market is a queer-run, alternative market based in Leeds. We support brand new stallholders and keep our markets as accessible as possible.

Spooky Storytelling

For those that like a little scare, and a little gore and a little Halloween spookiness we have a very special session this half term.

The highlight will be spooky storytelling around the campfire with the wonderful Stories with Liv. Liv is an amazing story teller and will tell a dynamic and interactive story to put us all in the spooky mood!

As well as the story telling session there will be lots of spooky Halloween themed play and crafts around the garden and you can toast a marshmallow on the fire.

Pumpkin House Workshop

As an alternative to spooky Jack’o’lanterns why not create a cute pumpkin fairy house. With twiggy windows, sycamore seed curtains, a little bark door and acorn cap door bell. Let your imagination run wild to create a unique pumpkin scene that can be used as halloween decoration and played with through the season.

You can also create a gnome or fairy family to live inside your pumpkin using Forest School techniques depending on age and interest.

Of course there will be lots of seasonal play around the garden aimed at little ones.
