Dr Rachel Connor of Leeds Beckett University hosts a discussion about female voices and the representation of women in contemporary literature. The panel includes feminist crime writer Ali Harper – author of The Disappeared, novelist and short story writer Clare Fisher – whose recent collection How the Light Gets In has been nominated for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize, and Clara Barley, whose historical novel The Moss House about Anne Lister was published by Bluemoose in July. Limited bar service available.
