Somebody’s Child are fast becoming one of the most exciting forces in modern rock, known for their dynamic sound and raw, heartfelt song writing. Fronted by Dublin native Cian Godfrey, the band have earned a reputation for electrifying live shows, selling out venues across the UK, Ireland and Europe, and sharing stages with The War on Drugs, Bloc Party and Kings of Leon. Their self-titled debut album in 2023 marked them out as a band to watch, with anthems such as Broken Record, I Need Ya and We Could Start a War striking a chord with fans.
Their new album, When Youth Fades Away, was recorded in Connecticut with Grammy-winning producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol). It finds the band pushing beyond indie-rock boundaries, drawing inspiration from electronic pioneers like Kraftwerk while reflecting on the realities of growing older not with nostalgia, but with a drive for reinvention.
