WHAT IS JAM ON TOAST?

Jam is a community centred dance event for people of all abilities. Our structure usually maintains the same, with a 1hr 30min movement workshop of any variety and we then lead into our jam. We make a cypher (circle) which people can fall in and out of – to dance, together or solo. This is accompanied by live musicians who are there to soundtrack the dancers, and both can co-improvise together to build an ongoing score.

We’re keepin w the last thursday of every month. Same time same place. next workshop leader will be @chris_bankc – expect more info on that soon.
