Viral Rap Star Che3kz to Headline Leeds Hip Hop Fundraiser for Mental Health Charity

Rising rapper and social media sensation Che3kz will headline a special hip hop showcase at The Vinyl Whistle, Headingley, on Wednesday 5th November, with all proceeds helping to raise funds for Leeds Mind.

Che3kz first captured the public’s attention with her viral “Seven Sizzling Sausages” freestyle on Pengame Rap Battle

Since then, she has featured on BBC 1XtraUnity Radio, and even supported JLS on their UK arena tour.

Known for her high-energy, genre-bending style, Che3kz is now bringing her talent to one of Leeds’ most exciting grassroots venues.

The packed lineup also includes some of the North’s brightest hip hop talent including Leeds-based TjTUCKER a versatile rap artist, song-writer who blends trap, RnB, boom bap and jazz in his productions layered with poetic wordplay and smooth delivery.

Also on the bill is Manchester’s Conduit who brings together a broad spectrum of sounds to deliver thoughtful and explorative bars alongside cohesive catchy, energetic production.

Next up is MARX, from Hull, who has carved out a niche on the scene by successfully distilling his passion for Hip-Hop into his own blend of Northern Rap.

Completing the line-up is Tee Fisher a Leeds-based hip-hop artist and producer recognised for her raw storytelling and genre-defying sound.

This fundraiser has been made possible thanks to sponsorship from Redbrick Properties, a Leeds lettings and sales business that has been part of the community for over 20 years.
