We are delighted to be welcoming Fun Lovin’ Criminals’ frontman Huey Morgan to Farsley to celebrate the release of his fascinating autobiography.

Musician, DJ, producer and award-winning BBC broadcaster, Huey will be sharing stories from his memoir, interspersed with songs on his guitar (including a preview of his new single!)

When the Fun Lovin’ Criminals released their smash hit debut album Come Find Yourself in 1996, its fusion of hip-hop, funk, blues and rock quickly saw it become one of the most iconic and influential records of the decade. Now, in a humorous and honest memoir, Huey Morgan describes his remarkable rock star journey.

Huey’s is a story that begins in the early 1990s in New York, as a marine freshly returned from combat and struggling to return to regular life. As Huey tries to kickstart his musical career, he finds himself falling into the criminal underworld to get by. But as his band begins – against all the odds – to take off, can he extricate himself before his shot at stardom goes begging?

Written in Huey’s indomitable and distinctive style, his book brings the grit and glamour of 90s New York brilliantly to life. And, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Old Woollen to hear from Huey in person.
