Do you want an alternative Friday evening experience? Join the independent team at Vinyl Whistle a record shop with a difference tucked away on the main street of Otley Road, Headingley.

As we celebrate this year's theme of Standing firm in power and pride we invite on a first come first sign up on the night 15 min slots from 5-7.45pm then at 8pm we drift away to the sounds of Leeds finest special guest DJs who are honoured to give their time for this special fundraiser PAYF on the night. Funds raised will be donated to the SickleCell Society.

This exciting NEW partnership event is supported by the lovely Adam & Neil at The Viynl Whistle & Ital Roots - Nattylyn Maddix-Butler promoting diversity, culture and de creative arts in Leeds.

At a time where smaller independent venues have sadly closed in Leeds in the past year thus gives rise for the importance of supporting local independent business...

Records are for sale on the night from as little as £1 to refreshments and snacks, or order in your choice records and even take time to listen to your sounds in the snug. 

This event is zero tolerance to racial hatred or hate crime as part of the equality act 2010 this is a fun, peaceful event promoting together in one small unique space.

So dates in your diary and use eco transport and get down in the shop early.

Bring your own headphones, records or ccjs can be played and ensure you get your name down to play between 5 -7.45pm.
