Volunteer Call Out - Leeds International Film Festival
Volunteering at Leeds International Film Festival (3 – 19 November 2023) is a unique and rewarding experience and we are looking for a dedicated and diverse group of people who are passionate about film (especially Independent British and International filmmaking), reliable and available across at least four different days during the LIFF 2023 dates, enjoy being part of a team and collaborating with others and are driven to help make LIFF one of the best audience experiences in the UK.
We have reworked our Volunteer Roles this year to help everyone get the most out of their experience, and are recruiting Venue Assistants (who will help to run individual festival screenings, lead on ushering and assisting Venue Coordinators with scanning tickets and reporting technical faults at screenings) and Festival Trainees (a role for those who want more behind-the-scenes experience of LIFF and who might want to work in the film industry).
As a volunteer at LIFF you will be part of the incredible team at one of the UK's leading film festivals, gain work experience and develop valuable skills, have a chance to see new films ahead of their release date (including four free tickets plus access to selected films online on Leeds Film Player) and experience a unique festival atmosphere while meeting lots of other people who love cinema too.
The deadline to apply is 8pm on Thursday 28th September, with follow up from the LIFF Team from Monday 2nd October.
