Intro to film photography workshop

In this workshop we will be discussing all things film camera! This is the perfect workshop if you want to get into using film cameras or have recently got one and are unsure how to get started.

We’ll talk about how manual film cameras work and cover some of the basics of using a camera so that you can MAKE pictures instead of taking them.

In this unique talk, Andrew Littlewood will explain why the question “why are there so many Thorne’s tins in Chesterfield”, began a 30-year obsession with Henry Thorne & Co. Ltd., mustard, cocoa and confectionery manufacturers of Lady Lane, Leeds. 

Andrew will outline the history of Henry Thorne and his company, plus how the Woodhead family of Chesterfield became so influential in this Leeds business.
