The Absence: Memoirs of a Banshee Drummer, a memoir by the legendary musician and drummer Budgie, in conversation with music journalist, Dave Simpson of the Guardian.
As a member of Big in Japan, The Slits and, most famously, Siouxsie and The Banshees and The Creatures, Budgie became one of the era-defining drummers in the much-mythologised post punk scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Presenting “Essence Of Django” – featuring some of the region’s hottest gypsy jazz and swing players, playing music inspired from legendry musicians Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli of the “Quintette du Hot Club de France”. Expect fiery solos, foot-stomping rhythms, burning ballads and even some Latin inspired piece. Essence Of Django remains in the spirit of Django and Stephane, whilst pushing the genre’ of “gypsy jazz” forward into modern sphere.”
