Nick Mohammed is Mr Swallow: Show Pony

After a sell-out 2023 UK tour and an extended run in London’s West End, Taskmaster loser Nick Mohammed returns as his critically acclaimed alter-ego Mr. Swallow with a brand new show.

Show Pony has been described by Mr. Swallow as “payback for everyone who didn’t come to the last tour” and will cover everything from not having his own sitcom to not having his own sitcom… and everything in between (critical race theory). As per – expect magic, music and a whole load of brand new mistakes.

Detective Sergeant Craig Downs is on his final stake-out before retirement to catch the serial ‘Kilburn Killer’. Ever the traditionalist, Downs is keen to tell new comer, Hayley Poulson, all about being a proper cop, however, she is also keen to show Downs an alternative approach. Will they see eye to eye, and can they work together to catch the Kilburn Killer before they strike again?

Leeds Comedy Pick N Mix

A bi-monthly night of improvised comedy courtesy of Leeds’ very own award-winning improvised sketch group, The Discount Comedy Checkout. All the characters, scenarios, and situations are created using your suggestions.

Each show features a hand-picked guest performer from the UK comedy circuit. This could be another quality improv group, a sketch act, character performer, musical comedian, or a good old-fashioned stand up.

Mik Artistik's Ego Trip

Mik Artistik is a poet, performer, artist and comedian. With his compadre Jonny Flockton on guitar, and a selection of well heeled bass players, they hypnotise audiences with their special brand of joyous madness. 

Delightful, frightening, strange and hysterically funny, Mik throws shapes and straws, and croons like a dream - sometimes. Jonny holds him in check with forceful, elegant and sublime guitar work. 

Waiting for Gateaux

Waiting for Gateaux by Ed Waugh & Trevor Wood is a satirical play set in possibly the worst health and fitness club in the North of England. This slimming club boasts one cycle, one yoga mat, one exercise ball and one muscle stretcher.

A comedy about four seriously dysfunctional people who come to the club more out of loneliness than a desire to lose weight. They are there to make friends and have a good gossip.

Ever heard of this show Hamilton? Shamilton is just like that but, *ahem*, better! Expect the same level of hip hop, incredible songs, stunning choreography and powerhouse singing … except made up by the cast.

Returning after their fully sold out month long run at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, comedy supergroup Baby Wants Candy presents Shamilton!: the Hamilton inspired hit hip hop musical created in 2016 in UCB in LA, with resident show status at Chicago’s legendary Second City.
