Join us for Yorkshire Day Celebrations in Morley Town Centre.
Enjoy a family fun filled day of stalls, food and drink, fairground rides, teapot trail and an outdoor cinema showing of Paddington at 2pm.
Plus Morley’s own Town Crier will be proclaiming his Yorkshire Day cry at 11am.
We will be throwing a Street Party with a very special Sound System.
Audio Gold is a handmade vintage HiFi Sound System, based upon a horn speaker system originally designed for cinemas and theatres. These speakers have taken years to create and have rarely been heard in public.
We are thankful to Layth for letting us host his Sound System for this special party.
We’ll be joined by travelling and local DJs, spinning an eclectic mix of tunes spanning from World Music, Japanese Disco and the occasional R’n’B banger.

On 27th July Wulzeh will be curating an exhibit showcasing photographs from Carnival, Sound System Culture and the place we call home, Chapeltown. There will be work displayed from several local artists.
To celebrate there will be a day party to bring the community together through good vibes and big tunes.

Learn how to make a delicious traditional Indian snack amongst the artwork in the Gallery during our exhibition all about food - Don't Play With Your Food!
Roo invites you to a cook and learn the art of traditional Punjabi potato flatbreads, known as Aloo Paratha. Grab your aprons and learn this unique recipe passed down from Roo’s grandparents. After we’ve finished cooking, we’ll enjoy a sit down lunch in traditional steel thali’s with condiments to complement our flatbreads.
Created by artist, chef and academic Helen Russell Brown, Edible Playground is a playful rejection of table manners. We will invite diners to put their elbows on the table and take a trip down memory lane to rediscover the joy and nostalgia of food.
The menu is inspired by Helen’s own personal food memories from childhood and beyond. It will be full of warm familiar treats as well as some surreal culinary experiments. Diners are invited to sit at our sculptural tablescape and experience a meal that sits at the intersection between food, art and playgrounds.
