Star Wars: Episode I:The Phantom Menace

Join us on Star Wars Day as The Phantom Menace returns to the cinema to celebrate the 25 year anniversary.

The Phantom Menace, Episode I of the Star Wars saga and the first film in the prequel trilogy, originally arrived in cinemas on May 19, 1999, following tremendous hype. Written and directed by George Lucas, it introduced the world to young Anakin Skywalker, Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Padmé Amidala, and the evil Sith duo, Darth Sidious and Darth Maul.

Ratcatcher

Kristen Stewart stars as Lou, a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for Jackie (Katy O’Brian), an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.

On Wednesday 1 May, MASSIVE Cinema presents a special preview of Love Lies Bleeding, an electric love story from Saint Maud director Rose Glass.

Saint Maud

Film Screening: Six Inches of Soil

FoodWise Leeds and Feed Leeds are hosting a screening of the eagerly anticipated documentary film Six Inches of Soil – a story of courage, vision and hope. The inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food - to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities.

The screening will take place at HEART on Friday 10 May 6-9m. Doors open at 6pm, film starts at 6:30pm with panel discussion to follow.
