Lineham Farm Pumpkin Festival

Join us for a spooktakular event this Halloween and enjoy a festive day filled with pumpkin picking, tricks, treats and lot’s of autumn magic.

Enjoy a wonderful family event this spooky season and help make a difference and brighten children’s lives in Leeds!

Our Pumpkin Festival is a ticketed event with all proceeds directly supporting Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm and the young people we work with. All ticket donations will support us in welcoming as many children as possible for a Halloween Holiday event throughout October Half Term!

Down the Chimney Abseil

Get into the Christmas spirit at our fancy dress abseil!

Join us on Saturday 14th December dressed in your best festive gear, as we drop 45 metres (147 feet) "down the chimney" on the side of the Moda Building at Quarry Hill in Leeds!

There will be a prize for the best fancy dress of the day!

All those taking part must be over 16 on the day of the event.

The Christmas Experience

Step into the enchanting world of "The Christmas Experience" at Lotherton!

Visit Santa’s snow filled North Pole for a magical experience with the main man and the elves. Join Mrs Claus in the enchanting Elf Village, ready to share her delightful tales about life at the North Pole and visit Santa’s elves for fun craft activities.

Take a stroll through the magical, interactive Festive Woodland Walk, discover the hidden Fairy Dell and marvel in the splendour of Lotherton Hall.

7 Locks Walk

Together we celebrate life.

Join us with your family and friends for the 7 Locks Walk where we invite you to celebrate life, whether it is lives lost, people who have supported you within your own life or the NHS who take care of lives.

This a beautiful 4.4 mile (7km) walk, starting at Kirkstall Forge and ending at Granary Wharf, where we can come together as a community to honour, remember and celebrate.

This event is open to all, including wheelchair users, families and pets.

The Nice Up Again - A Mini Festival of Joy and Togetherness

Hibiscus Rising provides the stunning venue for this celebration of musical cultures that people have brought to Leeds from across the world. There will be spoken word performances too.

The line-up includes Bassa Bassa, Music House Youth, SilverFinger Singh & Inder GoldFinger, Des Hurley & Gerry Brownridge (Leeds Irish Arts) and Ey Up Klezmer!, with DJ Festus and DJ Vicky providing us with an African soundtrack. This is music that crossses continents and builds bridges.

Rock Out and Resist with Love Music Hate Racism

Get ready for a proper good night of rebel music and resistance in memory of The Battle Of Holbeck Moor!

In 1936 fascists led by Oswald Mosely descended on Holbeck to spread their hate. They were met by 30,000 anti-fascists who repeatedly sang The Red Flag to drown out their speeches The fascists retreated under a hail of stones, one hitting Mosley himself.

Wild Play at Half Term

Set up camp for a day of wildness in the woods at TCV Skelton Grange...

Activities will vary from session to session depending on the season and the group - but past Wild Play days have included:

Wide games, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, field games, hammock hanging, wild food walks, woodwork crafts, string making, bows and arrows, stalking and tracking, pyro-carving and charcoal making.
