Leeds in Blossom

Every Spring, blossom declares the arrival of brighter days to come. Together with the National Trust and Fruit Works, Love Leeds Parks invites you to enjoy blossom’s fleeting beauty and celebrate all the good it can do – for people and for nature.

Explore some of the city’s best blossom spots using the Leeds in Blossom map, or join your friends and neighbours in celebrating the changing seasons at a Blossom-inspired community event.

Leeds' Queer History Tour - Music & Nightlife

Discover Leeds' queer music & nightlife history on a group walking tour of the city centre.

Where did Soft Cell's Marc Almond hear his first disco tune? Why did people stick money to the floor in The New Penny? And what happened when a bunch of lesbians wanted to start a pool tournament?

Find out, and discover the history of Leeds's queer music and nightlife scenes, on this new walking tour of Leeds City Centre.

Otley Ghost Tour

A one hour walking tour exploring the dark history of Otley.

Discover who hobbles the cobbles of the seemingly quaint medieval market town of Otley. Meet your ghoulish guide by the market square's famous Jubilee Clock, and brave the dark side. Graveyards, historic pubs and spooky churches are among the quirky sites visited throughout this tour, which runs every Saturday evening.

Hear spooky stories that the guidebooks wouldn't dare to tell as you walk around in the darker hours

Leeds Heritage Pub and History Walk

Starting in the shadow of the Black Prince, in City Square, this three-hour tour is run by It's The Beer Talking, a new business established by beer writer Simon Jenkins and event organiser and former Tetley's PR officer Nicky Massen.

You’ll learn how our city is still shaped by its 13th century geography, how it was the scene of audacious industrial espionage, the key role it played in the birth of a global entertainment industry – and about an extraordinary human auction, where people were sold to the highest bidder, a little over a century ago.

Pyramid Open Studios Tour

Tour Pyramid's accessible art studio for artists with learning disabilities and/or autism during Creativity and Wellbeing Week.

This one-hour tour is a chance to see Pyramid's studio facilities, meet our Creative Programme Coordinator to learn more about our open studio project, Finding the Flex, and meet some of the artists we support who will be working in the studio. There will also be a pop-up library for a chance to look through our archive and learn about past projects Pyramid has been a part of.
