The brand new #RebelSelves Selfie App, designed to make selfies glitchy and fun, is now live. Created by artist Charlotte Roe, from Huddersfield, and Dr. Dawn Woolley, an artist and research fellow at Leeds Arts University. 

Dawn says, "I have been interested in self-portraits and selfies for a long time, and in 2017 one of my self-portraits – The Substitute (holiday) won the Saatchi Gallery selfie competition and was named the world's best selfie by GQ magazine.

Aspire CBS Rock and Roll Bingo - Oldies but Goldies

Join Aspire CBS for an exciting online rock and roll themed bingo session which is being held as part of 100% Digital Leeds’s Arts in Care Digital Programme, to celebrate National Day of Arts in Care Homes

Held live over Zoom, we will play a line and a full house and when your bingo card is full, unmute and shout Bingo! as loud as you can. There are 20 songs on each bingo card - when you have booked onto this session you will be sent bingo cards to download and print (single-sided).

Summer Reading Challenge: Lego Spike Beatbox

To celebrate this year's Summer Reading Challenge theme of Marvellous Makers, join us for this session where you will build and then code your own musical creations using our Lego Spike kits. You'll have the chance to record and loop your own voice, create musical melodies, and add sound effects into the mix too! Leeds Digital Careers Fair returns to Leeds First Direct Arena on Tuesday 24 September 2024.

Free tickets are available to book anytime between 2:30pm-6:30pm.

Everyone is welcome, you can stay as long as you like and the event is free to attend.

The event will take place 1:30pm-6:30pm with the first hour allocated to school bookings.
