Ultimate ELO

INTRODUCING “ULTIMATE ELO” - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE BAND TO JEFF LYNNE AND THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA!

ELO helped form the soundtrack to the seventies, and “Ultimate ELO” play sets packed with all the disco hits and lighter waving anthems that will have everyone singing along.

The Drowns

Like an abandoned T-Rex record found tattered in a gutter, The Drowns amp-up and tear down classic blues based rock riffage and drag it kicking and screaming into modern punk streets. Marrying rough and raw with catchy and bouncy, The Drowns bark thoughtful and relevant lyricism over foot stomping, fist pumping punk rock anthems that get your heart pumping faster than a defibrillator.

Brett Domino Trio In Space

Cult keyboardists Brett Domino & Steven Peavis return to their spaceship for a one-off Northern performance of the highly successful ‘BRETT DOMINO TRIO IN SPACE’ show - this time featuring brand new music, as well as some old favourites and a few surprises.

If you miss it, you'll kick yourself.

Live/Wire - The AC/DC Show

Live/Wire is The AC/DC Show. The hugely successful tribute to rock music’s greatest band AC/DC, complete with cannons, a wall of Marshalls’ and over two hours of High Voltage Rock ‘n’ Roll in a show critically acclaimed for its closeness in look and sound to the real thing.

Originally fronting AC/DC was legendary front man Bon Scott, a wild man of rock and roll, whose untimely death shocked the World in 1980. This event came at a time when the Band were sampling global success for the first time.

Tramhaus

Tramhaus is the daring postpunk sensation from the restless and ever-innovative city of Rotterdam. In the span of its relatively short existence, Tramhaus has managed to make a name far beyond the borders of their hometown. Marked by their joyous and energetic experience, the band has proven to be able to convey this message both in live and recorded settings. The music of Tramhaus feels like a soundtrack to a vivacious, mysterious, and dangerous story.

Pit Pony

Once again channeling the rawness of the North East coast, Pit Pony return with their second album Dead Stars. Set to release on 7 February 2024 via Clue Records / EMI North, the album sees the band meld a myriad of influences from 50s doo-wop to heavy rock while frontwoman Jackie Purver navigates the complexities of modern life. A broader and more ambitious, but yet wholly cohesive follow up to their debut album World To Me, Dead Stars promises to reveal infinitely finer details with each listen.

Curtis Stigers

Curtis Stigers drives his publicists crazy.

For the past 30 years, the singer, songwriter, saxophonist and guitarist has been making records that confound those who try to categorise his music or put him in a box.

LSTwo

A concert of premieres with a memorial performance of Sandy Goehr's Manere for clarinet and violin. The programme features new pieces by students of the School of Music and an exciting premiere of a piece written especially for LSTwo by Mexican composer Alex Garcés.
