We Three Things present a fabulously intimate live music experience, featuring the wonderful Mayshe Mayshe.

Shadow Brewing taproom provides the venue for what is West Yorkshire’s answer to Tiny Desk concerts. The intimacy of the space prompts excellent performances and a gorgeous atmosphere. The taproom has already played host to such greats as Dilettante, The Howl and the Hum, Green Gardens, Amy May Ellis and Carpet.

We are very excited to have the wondeful Issey Chivers retun to sing with us for a third time!

Issey is a Leeds-based vocalist who has been performing in a professional capacity for seven years. She studied jazz vocals at Leeds Conservatoire and since graduating last year, has been working in a range of jazz groups, as well as leading her own project: ‘Issey Chivers Quartet’.

A group of young musicians who have been at the centre of developing improvised and experimental music around Leeds over the last four years, bouncing off the incredible free music that already exists in the city, and to build connections with electronic and alternative musicians.

Joined by two huge influences on all of us, James Mainwaring and Emil Karlsen.

Skydaddy + Catbandcat & Bug Teeth

Skydaddy, the moniker of London-born Lebanese/Grenadian artist, Rachid Fakhre, began life in early 2023 as an offshoot of his previous acclaimed project Spang Sisters. Before releasing any music, there was a buzz around the new project in the London scene - 2 weeks before Fakhre released his first single, ‘That Morning’, he toured the UK with his 7-piece backing band supporting Black Country, New Road.

Nosferatu (1922) + live score

With the renewed interest in the film Nosferatu, following a recently released remake, we're putting on another special intimate screening of the original 1922 film at The Northern Market on Saturday 25th January.

This screening will be accompanied by an original improvised live score by Anna Ross (synths), Spike Woodley (theramin) & Iris Casling (double bass).

*this is the second screening of the film at The Northern Market, which we're putting on due to high demand and a sold out first screening.

Come and sing/play your instrument, or just watch the fun The trio will be the Jazzleeds House Band led by Chapel Allerton’s pianist wizard Andy Cholerton. Phil Green will be your MC. We invite you to come and join in – or just have a drink at the bar and watch the fun!

Brendan Duffy at Rush Hour jazz

Brendan Duffy is one of Leeds’s favourite tenor sax players, recent TV star and all round good guy. He led the Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra for several years.

The concert will feature Brendan with the Seven Jazz trio with Chris Lloyd on keyboards, Steve Crocker bass and John  Arnesen drums. There will be a bit of Latin, some Funk, some dancing (up to you!) and great jazz.

Come over to Seven Arts for a drink and enjoy some excellent music, get here early for a good seat.
