Crazy Pony is a Bluegrass duo full of surprises!

This duet will take you on an intense and entertaining journey; virtuosic banjo picking and a charming bass with sweet harmonies meet incredible surprises leaving you on the edge of your seat and entranced!

Created in 2011, the duo of French-speaking Swiss Léa Rovero and English Frank Powlesland, combine their talents and their love for bluegrass to create this unique one of a kind show.

Join us for an evening of spoken word, prose, poetry, and visual arts!

Offshoots is at The Vinyl Whistle for the first time, featuring Jack Williams and Elio Tome, Oli Reeves and Joe Cross.

Combining the detailed synth work and live looping of Elia Tomé with the ambient soundscapes and striking string textures of Jack Williams. This collaboration fuses elements to create evocative and rich sonic landscapes, bore from guided improvisation combined with audio visual elements.

Sheffield's Pink Lemonade Roller Disco are teaming up with Leeds' LS-TEN and The Skate Scholarship to put on the official Northern Roll Warm Up Roller Disco. Practice your moves and get into the groove ahead of the main event in August!

New Folk Award winning songwriter, Rachel Laven performs a blend of Texas Folk and Americana music.  A positive force of nature on stage, Laven not only captivates with her smiling lyricism, but with her electric vocals and accomplished guitar work. She calls Nashville, Tennessee home these days, but her roots are deep in Texas where she was born and raised. Laven is currently building a team to produce her third album titled, Hard Truths.

For the tenth year, we welcome back the Leeds Conservatoire semi-finalists to compete for £500 and their own solo, prizewinning recital at Seven Arts, Chapel Allerton. 

Watch the seven pianists navigate the challenges of their chosen repertoire as they battle head-to-head to win this coveted prize. 
If you would like to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to beautiful classical piano music, for free, in an intimate setting whilst supporting Leeds upcoming talent, why not come along. This event is open to all.
