Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf today announces the release of his long-awaited seventh album Crying The Neck due out 25th April via APPORT / Virgin Music and available to pre-order here. The album features guest appearances from Zola Jesus, Serafina Steer, drummer Seb Rochford and Wolf’s sister Jo Apps. Alongside news of an extensive UK, European and US tour, the dates of which are listed below, Wolf has shared first single “Dies Irae”, an anthemic “affirmation of life” set in the days before the passing of his mother..

Focus

Featuring Thijs Van Leer, Pierre Van Der Linden, Menno Gootjes and Udo Pannekeet, Focus return to UK and European concert stages during 2025/26.

Fresh from a successful 2024 which included the release of their new studio album Focus 12, extensive European/UK touring as well as a month-long tour of the USA  they will traverse Europe to give their loyal fans what they always want - a good time, and timeless music.
Each song is breathtakingly unique, and each performance different to the one before.

The Monochrome Set

The Monochrome are currently touring to promote their latest album, 'Marc Riley Sessions from 2011 to 2022.'.

The band feature original Monochrome Set members Bid (guitar/vocals) and Andy Warren (bass) with Athen Ayren on keyboards and Stephen Gilchrist on drums.

The Monochrome Set formed in 1978, and were heavily influential in the post-punk scene that evolved after the initial scorched earth of punk.

Kalandra

Spearheaded by four Norwegian/Swedish musicians, Kalandra is a band with roots in melancholic Nordic folk and gritty guitars, weaving ethereal melodies into raw and eerie musical landscapes.

Song writing course (ages 11-18)

Every Wednesday evening in March 2025.

Open to anyone aged 11- 18, Leeds Library and Cloth Cat invite you to a Song writing and creating course led by tutor Sean Howe. 

In this 4 week course, we will explore choosing a theme, writing lyrics and structuring a song. Whilst Sean specialises in alternative music, all styles of music will be catered for at the course, no matter what genre you're into.

Dave Angel rocked the house at our HUGE event at Venue23, Wakefield in 2023 so how could we let the people of Leeds miss out? He's back with a full two hour set, digging even deeper to where he started out when it was all new and fresh, playing the likes of Raindance, 35 or so years ago!
