Tommy Guerrero may be better known in the world of skateboarding than music.
“The best critique is self-critique” is the mantra of Brooklyn art rock unit BODEGA. With wild minimalism and laughing wit, they revitalize the rock and roll vocabulary under the influence of post punk, hip-hop, kraut rock, and folk-derived narrative songwriting. Debut album, Endless Scroll, was released in 2018 and described as “A revelation” (Uncut) and “the real deal” (DIY).

Jon Cocker grew up in Sheffield and formed his first gigging band in Leeds. He since played in several bands in Norwich, and now focuses on solo acoustic gigs, releasing his first EP before returning to Leeds in 2019. The full sound of his music is inspired by artists such as John Martyn and the Allman Brothers, and attempts to capture all the emotion possible in this age of time pressures and distraction, with a strong focus on guitar as well as vocals.

Christy has been writing, recording and performing as a guitarist and hired gun for more than 20 years. A soulful, rich and road worn blues voice teamed with searing guitar virtuosity, he and the band cover songs by BB King, Howlin Wolf, Ray Charles, JJ Cale, Bobby Bland with soulful bluesy conviction, stay still if you can!
Along with Christy there will be Sam Bolt on keys, Simon Tipple on Bass, and Mark Old on drums.
