Venture into life drawing in this relaxed, supportive four-week course taught by experienced artist and tutor Boris Cruse.
You'll explore figure drawing, including line, gesture and shade, and develop your own artistic style.
Professional artist and Northlight Artistic Director Boris Cruse has many years' experience teaching with arts organisations in Leeds and beyond.
In this two-hour class you will learn the basics of hand embroidery from using an embroidery hoop to creating your own mini stitched sampler. Hayley will guide you through the basics of this traditional craft. You will learn a variety of hand embroidery stitches including back stitch, satin stitch and French knots.
To celebrate the official launch of the New Music library we will be enjoying some relaxing tunes from the huge collection of CDs that are available to borrow for free.
Community Art Club is an event for everyone to come together and make art.
Once a month we gather at the Miners Welfare Hall in Garforth and use different artistic methods and materials to explore our own creativity.
Families and individuals can work independently or together to support artistic growth in a relaxed, supportive environment.
