Block Print Your Own Clothes w/ Aidan Liggins - Print Festival 2025

During this fun and explorative workshop, you’ll learn how to hand stamp designs and patterns using Aidan's brilliant collected of pre-carved wooden and lino blocks. You’ll be experimenting with colour and pattern to create your design and then print this onto your clothing to takeaway and wear with pride! A great introduction to block printing.

Please bring a piece of clothing with you which you’d like to print on.

Please note - this workshop is suitable for children and adults aged 8+. Any under 18s must be accompanied, and adult supervision will be needed at all times.

Join us to make sock bunnies to celebrate Easter!

Our new friendly chat and craft sessions are a great opportunity to learn a new skill and chat to like-minded people in a relaxed environment.

In this workshop we will be making sock bunnies to celebrate Easter. Bring in your own socks or use our odd ones.

No sewing skills necessary, tea and biscuits provided. 

Paint a Watercolour Donkey

Join artist and illustrator Helen Broadhead at this fun, creative session learning how to paint a donkey using watercolour paints.

During the session I will help and guide you from drawing your design to painting it in watercolour paints.

This will be a very fun workshop suitable for all. You will learn new techniques and learn to be expressive with paint whilst having fun and growing confidence.

Suitable for adults and children over 12 (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Intro to Life Drawing with Tessa Houghton

A six week course with Tessa Houghton.

This relaxed and friendly course is designed to explore various techniques and methods used to depict the human figure. Suitable for beginners but open to all skill levels, the course will guide you through key aspects of figure drawing, offering both structured tuition and the freedom to explore your own creativity.

Please note: Due to half term there will be no class on Wednesday May 28th. The final session will take place on June 4th

Clay Sculpting Fun: Get hands-on with air-drying clay and create your own unique masterpiece.

Lino Print A Tote Bag Workshop

Come along to this creative workshop and learn the basics of simple lino printing.

You will be guided through the process of how to create a striking lino cut, which is then used to create a block print.

When you are happy with your design you will print onto a tote bag, making a beautiful and unique accessory.

This workshop is led by local artist and professional workshop leader Vickie Orton, who spreads creativity and happiness across Yorkshire.

10am - 1pm

All materials included.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided during the break.
