Neon Starry Night Photo | Video Exhibition

Chillchillcats Goodies Store in Leeds Kirkgate Market is set to undergo a captivating transformation from 16th - 30th March.

During this period, it will host a unique joint exhibition, 'Neon Starry Night,' showcasing both photography and video art.

The store will be intricately converted into a darkroom, featuring several illuminating light boxes that highlight the narrative photography of 'True Font' signage.

Simultaneously, the wall will be adorned with a mesmerizing video installation, 'Neon Record View.'

MA Fine Art Interim Show – What's In Your Fridge?

In this first version of What’s In Your Fridge? the ten artists enrolled on the MA Fine Art course at the University of Leeds open their fridges and show you what's inside.

Some works are well rehearsed dishes, others are fusions of ingredients anew. Expect painting, text based work, audio visual experimentation and live art fun.

There will be a private view of the exhibition plus performances on Thursday 14 March from 6-9pm. All welcome!

The show will then be reheated for a second version at Patrick Studios on 4 April.

The use of colours in arts and crafts is entwined with the history of civilisation and scientific discovery. This new exhibition explores the science of extracting pigments from nature across the globe, and the emotional and psychological significance of colours for wellbeing.

Come Find Us brings you an exciting and diverse range of exhibitions, late-night openings, gigs and much more.

Raging! Photography Exhibition

Created by Grace Wilkinson and Sarah Oglesby, Raging! is a photography project that sticks two fingers up to women+ being seen and not heard.

This vibrant, punchy and ironic commentary on societal expectation establishes a space where women+ can be loud, outrageous and angry about the things that affect us on a daily basis. Women+ like they’ve never been seen before, or maybe they have but they were just 'hormonal'.

The Sculpture Gallery in March - David Cooke

Drawing inspiration from the shapes, patterns and behaviours in the natural world, David Cooke creates sculptures in a wide variety of styles and media in his workshop in Holmfirth.

He has been creating animal sculptures in ceramic since childhood, but he is constantly experimenting with new techniques, and materials, and is always ready to develop new skills such as bronze-casting.
