In this three hour beginners’ workshop, you will explore watercolour techniques to create beautiful botanical paintings that celebrate the arrival of Winter.
You will learn to mix, layer and blend colour, embracing the fluid medium of watercolour before experimenting by mixing your own colour chart. Throughout the workshop you will observe live demonstrations and follow illustrated process sheets, exploring a variety of brushes and strokes to create different shaped leaves and petals. You’ll take home a series of botanical paintings and illustrated handouts to practice your skills at home.
