Nattylyn Maddix Butler Ital Roots

Join Nattylyn founder of "Ital Roots" with your "little roots" in this creative interactive arts and wellbeing session, where you can take time to engage with your little ones in a safe, enriching and secure environment in the John Lewis Community Room - Fourth Floor, next to the Cafe.. 

Hongi pre and post -natal group hosts its Tiny Art & Self Care Club sessions this Black History Month for those diverse mamas or mamma's with diverse children where you can take part in the exclusive (1 hour and 30 mins) workshops where you can gain opportunity to meet new mamas, new tots or baby bumps and be open and honest in the confidential environment. 

Refreshments and snacks can be purchased/on sale: from the  Fourth Floor John Lewis Cafe and there will be arts and wellbeing workshop activities provided by Nattylyn at a participation cost of £5 per mama ...

Nursing Mamas welcome to attend with a Grandmother, Aunt or Sibling...*capacity venue restrictions...

Accessible and baby changing toilets available on the Fourth Floor including private nursing area.

Please bring a yoga mat and cushion, refillable water bottle, wear relaxed cosy clothes, layers and none best clothes as you will be using various materials.

This is a supervised activity and therefore children must be supervised at all times, please note they are not the responsibility of the host. 

This is a zero tolerance space therefore no hatred behaviour welcome and in accordance to the equality act 2010 this is a female/woman identified space only. 

This event is in partnership with John Lewis for providing the facility however its an independent event with limited room capacity. 

Photography is restricted thus none identifiable imagery, respecting wishes of participants whilst encouraging opportunity for a device free nurturing activity.

All events must start and finish promptly to ensure full participation of mamas.

Its a confidential space. Feel free to ask questions, book in for free advise sessions with the John Lewis Nursery Team. 

Nattylyn is a qualified Nursery Nurse - NNEB CACHE Diploma in Nursery Nursing, BA Hons in Childhood Studies and obtains a PGD & MA in Youth & Community Development with high expertise and as a mother to two children, Nattylyn utilises her Rastafarian roots and culture to support diverse mamas in her community and beyond.

    Only one turn up & bookable session at a time & drops ins welcome on the day if there is capacity. 

    Saturday & Sunday & a half-term session therefore a sibling is welcome to attend.
