Join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles for this six-week introduction to textile art techniques. You will learn and develop a range of techniques like using a sewing machine, patchwork, applique and hand embroidery. Hayley will guide you through these techniques, helping you to make and embellish your own unique tote bag.

All materials and equipment will be provided and this course is suitable for beginners and people with some sewing experience who would like to learn some new skills.

Hayley Mills-Styles is a Yorkshire based textile artist specialising in embroidery. Using fabric and thread, she creates textile drawings and objects that tell stories. These stories often have an autobiographical theme. Hayley teaches a range of textile workshops sharing traditional skills with a contemporary twist.
