Celebrate Hallowe’en with the magical minds behind some of your favourite spooky books!
Join us to celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Challenge 2025 'Story Garden', featuring Laura Ellen Anderson, Lucy Farfort, Patrice Lawrence, Jack McKay, Piers Torday and more for spine-tingling stories, creepy draw-alongs, and eerie activities in the mysterious corners of Leeds Central Library. Please read your booking confirmation to find out how to join each author for a more interactive "Ghastly Masterclass".
A light breakfast and drinks will be available on arrival, bring your own packed lunch and spooky outfits are encouraged. A free family-friendly event, most suitable for children aged 6 years and over. A BSL interpreter will be present at all author talks in the Tiled Hall.
