Get ready for a week of movement, creativity and connection at the NSCD Summer School!
Open to young people aged 12–17 (all levels) and adults aged 18+ (advanced level), this five-day experience is led by NSCD’s expert staff, alumni and guest artists.
With daily technique classes, creative sessions, and the chance to perform on stage at our on-site Riley Theatre, it's an exciting opportunity to dance, meet like-minded people, and explore life at a leading dance conservatoire.
Participants are grouped by age: 12–14, 15–17, and 18+ (for dance students, graduates and professionals). Each day begins with a contemporary technique class, followed by creative workshops to devise a piece for an end-of-week sharing.
Those interested in studying dance further can also attend exclusive Progression Routes and Insight Sessions, offering a deeper look into NSCD’s training and courses.
Whether you're dancing for fun or considering a future in the arts, our Summer School is the perfect place to start!
