Music at Heart is an award-winning, non-profit music school based in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Our vision is to nurture a child’s lifelong love of music, by providing quality musical experiences to babies, toddlers and children in the early years. Using the Kodály approach to music education, we create community through singing, movement and instrumental playing in our gentle and inclusive classes.
Please see our website for full details. We are running PAYG classes (almost) every week Tuesday-Friday during the school summer holidays 2025. www.music-at-heart.co.uk
Our award-wining classes range from £9.25-£11.50 per child.
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are also able to offer FREE/subsidised class places to:
“parents” (mothers, fathers, adoptive parents or any other primary caregiver) with children aged 0-2 years who are, or have been, suffering with their mental health
children aged 0-7 whose parents are on low incomes
single parents with children aged 0-7
Global Majority families
asylum seekers and refugees
Foster and adoptive families with care-experienced children
parents and/or children aged 0-7 with a disability, SEN and/or neurodiversity
anyone facing a barrier to access our classes (for reasons not listed above)
