Daniel Hutchings is back, again, to make the world a happier place, one laugh at a time with more misadventures in comedy in their 5th Thingy.
Join us for a special screening of the 5th Thingy from Daniel Hutchings as part of Scalarama Leeds - it's gonna be very Thingy!
The third in the trilogy of Django Away (2014) and Freelance Giggle-oh (2017), Mission:G.I.G.G.L.E. follows the tales of Hutchings’ comedy character as they attempt to come up with a believable story to entertain an audience of one. What follows is a tapestry of styles and stories, jokes and audiences, places and faces, as Hutchings’ tales gets closer and closer to believability and further and further from his daydreams. But how will all this plausibility affect Hutchings’ mission? And, more importantly, how will their audience respond? Find out at Scalarama Leeds Festival 2024!
This screening will begin with Thingy trailers and adverts before Mission:G.I.G.G.L.E. plays. This will be followed with an After Thingy Social where Thingy Fans will be able to meet each other as well as Hutchings. There will also be a chance to buy copies of Hutchings' Thingy books as well as Thingy t-shirts!
Don't miss out on this special chance to see Hutchings' 5th Thingy for the first time with other Thingy Fans!
